Focusing on the early Christian writings and their social world
Welcome to RPBS
These pages are intended as a resource for serious, scholarly studies of the early Christian writings and their social world.
The inclusion of a specific link does not necessarily mean an endorsement of its content, but suggests that it may be well worthy of some consideration.

Link of the month!
Here I provide a reference to what I have chosen as my 'Link of the month'. The choice might seem arbitrary to some, but it often mirrors some of my recent discoveries of the resources that are available on the Web, or a link I recently have found especially helpful. This time my preference is the Society of Biblical Literature homepage. Have look by clicking on the link above.

Last Update: See the RPBS Blog
My blog, called the RSBP Blog, is a blog where I note recent updates to these pages.
It contains, however, also many other postings relevant to studies of the New Testament and its social world. Another Blog that might be of interest to you, is my blog on Philo of Alexandria.
The last update of these pages was by Oct. 6. 2008.

How to quote
It is not always easy to know how to refer to webpages when writing scholarly studies. This link provides some suggestions. For further help in quoting resources found on the web, have a look at the SBL Manual, or similar handbooks.
